Fluids
As well as taking carbohydrates in the form of food or sugary drinks you need to take lots of sugar free drinks such as water, low sugar juice, unsweetened tea.
High blood glucose will make you very thirsty and possibly make you go to the toilet a lot too. Drinking will help to replace the fluid.
